WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts.  The
Bible is the revelation of God's truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice and accurate when it speaks of matters involving the natural world.

We believe that all people are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God's displeasure except by His mercy.

We believe in the Holy Trinity.  There is one God who exists and has existed eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in salvation by God's grace alone, not through any human merit.  We further believe that all who confess that Jesus is Lord and come to Him with true repentance and faith, trusting in Christ alone, will be saved.

WHO WE ARE

Westminster Presbyterian Church is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and is committed to glorifying God by following Jesus Christ through the application of His Word and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

We are evangelical and reformed in our doctrine and Presbyterian in our form of church government.

As evangelicals, we unite with other evangelical churches in our community and around the world to proclaim the unchanging truth of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Christ alone.

As reformed believers, we find our roots firmly planted in the reformation of the church and on the truths for which men and women gave their lives to preserve.  We believe that the scriptures are most faithfully represented by the doctrines found in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger Catechisms.

As Presbyterians, we believe that the form of government most faithful to the scriptures is that which is governed by elders (overseers or under-shepherds of Christ) who on the local level comprise a session, on a regional level comprise a presbytery, and on a national level meet annually at a General Assembly.

As a church, we seek to be a loving community, firmly built on the truth of scripture, that seeks to bring the relevance of the Gospel to bear in our lives and in the lives of other broken people in our community and world who also recognize their need for Christ.
